AITA?

thoodleoo:

my wife (39f) and i (43m) have several children, including our oldest daughter (17f). recently i was trying to lead my army on an expedition to troy, but i ran into a little problem. i had apparently angered the goddess artemis at some point, so she wouldn’t let the winds blow to take us to troy. i talked to my favorite priest about it, and he said that artemis was demanding some sort of huge sacrifice to make up for it. so i told my daughter to come over so she could get married to one of our best warriors, and i sacrificed her to artemis on her wedding altar. now my wife is refusing to talk to me.

i get that i probably should have checked with her first, but i had a feeling she would say no, and i really need these winds to help my army get to troy. so, AITA?
